Some Bluetooth audio devices, including AirPods, are not Microsoft-certified for use with Microsoft Teams. This may cause users to lose the audio when accessing the KUDO Language Selector in Teams. The Bluetooth device may work as expected in a standard Teams call, but the behavior may change as soon as Microsoft re-routes the audio from the KUDO iFrame.
The best solution is to use Microsoft-certified audio devices for Teams. Check here to see the list of certified devices that provide a better experience and compatibility with Teams.
The tips below may serve as a temporary solution, but neither Microsoft nor KUDO guarantees full functionality when using Bluetooth for Teams:
- Terminate all apps and programs that output audio, like Zoom, YouTube, Spotify, etc.
- Disconnect the Bluetooth device from other paired devices, smartphones, tablets, etc.
- Reset audio input and output devices in the operating system and the Teams app.
- Rejoin the Teams Meeting.
