Audience: AV/IT and Audio Managers.
Use Audio Manager to route translated channels to Dante destinations. Venue Audio OUT supports AI and human interpretation; Venue Audio IN is for human interpretation only.
Before you start
Install Dante Virtual Soundcard and Dante Controller. Use wired Ethernet on the destination devices’ Dante network and verify clock synchronization.
Steps
- Enable Audio Manager in the meeting’s advanced settings. Add the assigned user under Audio Managers and complete invitation setup if needed.
- On the dedicated computer, start Dante Virtual Soundcard with WDM and 16 × 16 channels, as in the documented configuration.
- Sign in with the assigned Audio Manager role. Open the meeting settings and Venue Audio OUT.
- Select Edit Audio Settings. Map each language to a Dante output and save.
- In Dante Controller, subscribe those outputs to the required destination channels and test each feed.
What to expect
Subscribed destinations receive the mapped language audio.
Troubleshooting
| Issue / Task | Possible Cause | Recommended Action |
|---|---|---|
| Missing channels | Clock or network issue | Check synchronization, network visibility, and Virtual Soundcard operation. |
| Unstable routing | Connection instability | Reopen Audio Manager, restart Virtual Soundcard, and verify subscriptions; audio may briefly disconnect. |
